PIO HANDBOOK

We are pleased to inform you that the RTI Institute of India, New Delhi has brought out the “PIO Handbook” for making the Right to Information System simpler. This handbook is a very important document for the Public information Officers, Appellate Authorities and other concerned officials as well as Information Seekers. This “PIO Handbook” helps in making replies and providing the desired information as per the RTI Act 2005 besides the guidelines and Regulations regarding Central/State Information Commission and public Authorities. This handbook discusses the various aspects that PIOs should do in the discharge of their duties and which PIOs should avoid. PIO Handbook is available in English and Hindi languages.
